Feleke and I checked out
Mestizo on Thursday night. It's a new "tequila ultra lounge" in Belltown, taking over the space that previously belonged to Twist.
Mestizo is currently in the soft opening and they have a limited menu right now.
Feleke ordered the ceviche.

Mestizo wants to be a tequila lounge and they definitely deliver on that. They have three pages of every type of tequila you could imagine.
I did not take pics of the inside, but here's what I can tell you. The sparkly pig is gone, there is still a front bar and back bar (we sat at the back). There are many private booths, lots of seating space. The back room at Twist that was a private area is now converted to booths. They also had a live band playing Latin music, and from what I heard, they play to have music every evening.
We spoke to a few employees and there are plans to have food brunch on the weekends, lunch during the week and - get this - late night available until 4:00 a.m. Late night is going to be a shit-show, I am sure.
Oh, one more thing to note, they are somehow related to Tia Lou's, but I received different answers on the connection. The one that most of the staff said was one of the current owners was a general manager at Tia Lou's?
We'll see how they do in the next few months. Hopefully we'll see an expanded menu and prices fall.

Thank you for coming to check us out.
This place is horrible. I'd be astounded if they stay in business till June.
